David E. Gilmore, CAI, AARE is President and Founder of Gilmore Auction & Realty Company, a New Orleans based firm specializing in the accelerated marketing of real estate.
Gilmore has successfully sold office buildings, hotels, restaurants, industrial, retail, high end residential, marinas, condo projects, subdivisions and acreage via auction, sealed bid, and Internet bidding systems. Clients represented include Exxon, Chevron, FDIC, RTC, U.S. Marshal's Service, U.S. Small Business Administration, Hibernia National Bank and many others.
Gilmore has served as chief auctioneer for more than 4,000 real estate auction properties located throughout the United States.
Dave has been a Realtor since 1983 and was selected as a 1999 recipient of the NAR Richard W. Dewees Award. The award sponsored by the NAR Real Estate Auction Committee, is given to those individuals who best exemplify the mission, which is "to enhance the ability and opportunity of Realtors® to gain a greater understanding, knowledge and acceptance of the Auction Marketing Method as an additional income-producing resource to their real estate business success." |
He holds Real Estate Broker licenses in Louisiana and Mississippi, and auctioneer licenses in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. He is an Instructor for the Auction Marketing Institute's Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate program and is a seminar presenter for the National Auctioneers Association. Dave has recently served as a seminar presenter at the Transact 2000 Conference in Chicago.
Gilmore is Past President of the Auction Marketing Institute and is a former ex-officio member of the National Auctioneers Association Board of Directors. He is past President and past Secretary/Treasurer of the Louisiana Auctioneers Association and was the 1992 Louisiana State Champion Auctioneer.
In November 1997, his company was asked to conduct an auction during the National Association of Realtors Convention in New Orleans. This successful auction of more than 30 residential, commercial and investment properties grossed over $6 million dollars and demonstrated to Realtors how they can successfully work with auctioneers to enhance their services.
Gilmore recently sold at auction the 180-year-old Manheim Antique Gallery building, one of the oldest buildings in the New Orleans French Quarter. The auction price of $4,535,000 was a record at $365 per square foot.
He resides in Kenner, Louisiana with his wife, Darlene, and their two children, Dustin and Samantha.

Francis J. Braud is Vice President of Gilmore Auction & Realty Company. Braud has served as Auction Project Manager which includes auction consultation, sales presentations, contract negotiations, property evaluations, and supervision of title researchers, contract writer, bid assistants, and auction day personnel.
He is the President and Commercial Broker of The Braud Company, a New Orleans based firm specializing in land development; commercial sales and leasing - land, shopping centers, office buildings; residential sales; relocation; property management; and rental. Built and sold single-family homes.
Braud hold Real Estate Broker licenses in Louisiana and Mississippi. He has been a Realtor since 1975 and is a current Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate.
He resides in Kenner with his wife, Leslie Haydel Braud.

Martha Miller Rock joined Gilmore Auction & Realty Co.as an Accelerated Marketing Specialist Auctioneer and Associate Real Estate Broker.
She has been a Realtor since 1983 and holds the designations of Certified Auctioneer, Accredited Land Consultant and Certified Residential Specialist.
Rock has conducted multi-million dollar sales in rural and timber land sales in Georgia. Golf course sales in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Maryland sold at auction. Sales in residential property in Georgia and Louisiana. Auction Sales of personal and real property to settle court ordered Estate sales. Multi-million dollar sales of private treaty listings as Agent for the Seller.
Professional memberships include the National Auctioneers Association, Georgia Association of Auctioneers, Auction Marketing Institute and the National Association of Realtors.
She resides in New Orleans with her husband, Dr. John Rock.
